Dead serious. I hope GALCH works well in Minnesota though! He’s a good guy in a much needed change of scenery. Right now he’s worth a 3rd/4th RP. - Barnaby36

Galchenyuk would clear waivers right now.
Addison & a first is a decent haul for Zucker. Wild had to take Galchenyuk for cap reasons, which makes no difference to them. |

That puts a dagger in Ghetto’s heart. I was trying to be kind and giving Galchenyuk some value here. |

Probably would. If Minny retains half his salary on a deadline deal, they'll probably squeeze some value out though. Depth pickup for a playoff team. |

Wow you guys hosed the pens on this one. Reading the pens blog and comments it sounds like they are all justifying this deal. And maybe this deal alone is close but the fact they gave up assets less than a year ago for Galy makes it look even worse for them.
From Pit
Phil Kessel ,a fourth-round pick in the 2021 NHL Draft, Dane Birks.
Galy, Addison, 1st round pick
To Pit
Zucker
Maybe this trade works
Great for them. But that’s an awful lot out for basically replacing Kessel with Zucker |

if they don't sign him, minny will probably flip galchenyuk for another 1st or at very least a 2nd + prospects so the pens would have given all this up for 3.5 seasons of a 5.5 million dollar cap hit 20 goal forward if they are lucky when they could have just traded galchenyuk or rode out his contract and spent the money in free agency on whoever is available that tickles their fancy as a ufa. - ghetto puck
Galchenyuk has next to zero trade value. He sucks out loud |

You do know Phil requested a trade right? And he controlled where he was traded to right? And those factors sink his trade value right? And you do know that a pick in the 27-31 range as well as a defensive prospect who is 2-4 years away and is blocked by Letang and Marino don’t help us right? Just checking. |
