Always. LOL. I am not against actually confronted the refs and spelling out what you saw. Absolutely. If the coach thinks the refs blew a call then he needs to let the refs know that and he can do that without being a raging bumhole.

As someone who has coached I find the best recourse is to be subtle with the refs, just a very simple, "yea, you missed that call #". That gets into their head (I also reffed). If you rant and rave and scream and yell the focus is now on YOU and not the poopty call the ref made.

I believe that Kane told Colliton to get Dcat OFF the 1st PP unit. In the previous game, it was obvious that Kane would not pass the puck to Dcat and something had to change. At least Smith is a big body in front of the net. The only thing that Dcat does is whiff or cough up the puck. Totally useless. And its not just because of one or 2 games.

The 3rd Oiler goal should have been blown dead. There is no way the ref saw the puck up against his pad. That is a gutless ref who didn't want to make the correct call in front of the home fans.

Is this because Strome is out? If we're down to no other options for some defensive support on the PP, I'd use Carpenter over Smith since Smith is prone to stupid, ill-timed penalties.

We need Kubalik on first unit until Dcat turns it around. Dcat is struggling scoring goals, but he’s still on pace for close to 60 points, why would we send him down? This is a question for the board.
