The road trip to Florida is scary for me, I don’t know why but traditionally they stink in those games. - Marc D
The games at Sunrise have a “Vegas Hangover” effect. The beautiful weather and a quick peak at South Beach puts the mind elsewhere. The rather dull arena atmosphere lulls them to sleep even though it will be 50% Flyers fans there.
Tampa is different. A solid team, with a packed house of fans that just makes it a difficult place to win. I’ll be heading up there for the game next month.

His value is probably at an all time low, you’re right, probably better to trade him in the offseason. As for Stewart, he was certainly a hot button for some posters wasn’t he - Dave21Brown
I get the off season. Easier to move contracts around. The tdl always intrigues me.
In response to hagg. The Washington announcers praised his play multiple times last night. Yeah one p k he blocked two ovie one timers within 30 seconds. Didn’t think Myers was terrible last night. He had some descent hits as well. Growing pains will happen though. |

Yeah. It seems like they struggle with that trip every year no matter how good or bad the Florida teams are. |

Agree, Myers has plenty of potential but has played poorly lately. Perhaps the grind of the long season is getting to him as it does with many young players. I’m not completely sold on his pairing with Sanheim because at times they seem to be running around a bit in their own end. Maybe go back to pairing Braun/Sanheim, Myers/Hägg. One mobile guy and one stay at home on each pair. - Djapana
I think that’s a good call.

His mistakes have hurt them. I think this is just him going through growing pains for a young D. His potential is still very high.
The Myers and Sanheim pair at times look great but when they have a miscue it often results in a good goal scoring chance.
On the first NJ goal Myers was bad but Giroux didn’t help. G sort of drifted to the corner and then was caught in between the passer and the goal scorer in the slot. Myers I expect the occasional mistake, but G should have played that a lot better. - Marc D
I agree about Giroux on that play but really seal the man off on the wall and the play is over. Myers has large potential and strong physical skills but he has been suspect in coverage a lot this season. When and if he straightens that out, he'll be a real good player in my opinion.

Gostisbehere has never had straight ahead speed. His skating was always based on deception and mobility. That is still there for him. His issue is mentally in my opinion. He was playing well before the injury. He was held out because the coach feels that he needs more practice time to get back in game shape. Difficult to do with the schedule. |

Just got done watching the game. All I'll say is I'm done trying to figure this team out. |

Flyers effort last night speaks for itself, I'm looking for at least a split in Fla. I haven't kept up with the Phantoms, what's the story with Ratcliffe, 4 goals seems disappointing after his junior career. Was he injured or just getting limited playing time? |

Just checked, they gave Coots an assist on Gs goal. Thought he could have gotten one on TKs as well.
Nice game Coots, 2 goals and an assist. Just stick anyone on his wing and goals pop out. |

It was actually surprising to me. If Nyone I would’ve guessed maybe Richards. But yeah. Interesting.
With that said I never knew much about NAK. Just that he wasn’t exactly living up to expectations or developing how people thought he would. I think the 4 th line rw is his to lose now. - Peter Richards
Great to see NAK come into his own development takes time for most players, especially those picked in later rounds.
What’s silly is when someone brags that they were right about a young player in the thick of his development all along and he should played sooner. We all saw enough of NAK to know he wasn’t ready last season or this past came. Starting with the phantoms was the best thing for him and now it’s paying off. |

The B’s played like one of the worst teams in the league. Their fans must be in full panic mode! |
