I used his words to make a different argument (only the first two paragraphs)
Then when I went into my second point, I made sure to mention it's not directed towards him because I didn't want him to think the second point involved him, because it didnt.
I literally called a truce with him like 2 weeks ago. I'm not going to go attack him after that and I didnt. - bulet13
In my opinion, I think the best thing to do would've been to leave it on the other thread. I also think you're wrong.

I’ll put it to you like this. You’re sick of me criticizing this team, whether it be warranted or not. That doesn’t make me less tired of the Chris Stewart jokes or being bashed because I want more from our best players. Even I can admit Hayes has been a brought spot of this team the past two months. I can bend to an extent but the rest of you, oh boy. Why should have to read another lengthy post about how poopty a fan I am? - SuperSchennBros
Once again, I'm not sick of you or MJL of criticizing the team because at least you guys make some points and applaud the team after wins (usually). That is why I mentioned that the post was not directed to you. Maybe I should have said that at the beginning rather than the end.
I'm sick of the constant negative criticism even when the team does well. I havent mentioned stewie or hayes or really any player in forever. poop, I havent even Hagg bashed in months. Everyone can be a fan in their own way, but I will never again understand the constant negativity even if things are going well

Okay, fine, let’s move forward.
There is a big game tonight and the team has to show up.

Yes 100%
This 7 game stretch is the season basically. Put the devils game behind them and find a way to be a great team over the next 2 weeks. 14 pts up for grabs. Need to get at least 10. Preferably with regulations wins over columbus and florida twice

To be fair, I can’t keep track of everyone’s point of views all the time. I literally confuse you and Ftown all the time. I’m sorry
Putting Giroux back with Couturier is the best thing they can do to try and get Giroux going. - MJL
Why Bother
Flyers have lacked a true captain since Bobby Clarke retired
Flyers will never win a Stanley Cup with Claude Giroux and Jakub Voracek on the team. Giroux has never competed in an Olympics, Sad! Elite Canadian players play for Team Canada in the Olympics, Fact!
We've all watched hockey for years and years and years, so I know I'm preaching to the choir to most of you degenerates, but I'll say it anyway: It is just astounding how this PP doesn't work.
It is just crazy to me. It makes no sense, whether Giroux is on the left or right, though he should probably be on the left.
It just makes absolutely no sense to me how this PP just isn't a weapon for them. It makes absolutely no sense

Giroux should be on the trade block, his value is diminishing every game

I’m curious as to what my view is? I was furious about the loss the other night. I wouldn’t dismiss it as just another loss though because it’s been a regular occurrence, the flyers losing to lesser teams in the standings. They have some tough games coming up, it would have been nice for them to win that one. They always seem to find a way to make things harder on themselves. That’s frustrating to me.

I'm with you. It would be one thing if they were on a back to back and were just a little flat and had a tight game with some bad puck luck leading to a loss against an inferior opponent. However that wasn't the case. They were lackadaisical from the start. Young players were non-chalant and playing with out urgency. The lasez-faire attitude on the PP was appalling. Who are they to think and act this way? Why didn't any of the veterans nip it in the bud and lead the way on the ice out of it? How many times to we have to see this from this core group of players? They may have good leaders but there was no leadership shown in the Devils game.

It truly is hard to understand, and it really started in force last season. I wish they would simplify the whole thing and use their skill to beat teams cleanly. I don’t care if that looks boring and predictable. Too much is made of it being predictable then, when it is just terribly inefficient now. More priority needs to be given to having more shooters and getting more shots.

Agreed. The best power plays are predictable but when executed well cannot be stopped.
