Flyers are only 2 points back of CBJ with a home and home against them coming up later in the month. It really wouldnt take too much of a cooldown to throw the Blue Jackets right back in the mix for the final playoff spot.

We should have a better sense of where the Flyers are at after the back to back with FLA and NYI on Monday and Tuesday.

Caps are playing the Islanders on Monday. This is a trap game for them.

So how am I doing?

Tonight's outcome shows what happens when the vets all have good games together. Coots and TK and G most certainly needed this. My female dog against this team has been the chronic underperformance of at least 2 or 3 vets for long stretches of time. Always someone coming out of a slump while others begin. I know that we cant score 7 goals a game, but we need more goal greed for the top 6. Way more than they have delivered this year.
