The standings are quite interesting right now. Arizona has 2-4 more games played than the next NINE teams below them. With that in mind, 5 points separates AZ at 19th down to 25th in the standings. AZ is 2-5-3 with a 2g losing streak. All the teams within 5 points with 2-4 less gp have better records in their last 10 games, and non have lost their last 2 straight.
But Kuemper is on his way back..

We could be picking at 3rd AND 10th overall. Need to lose some more games though. Too many points lately. Ottawa and LA are sinking fast and Anaheim is 1pt ahead of us with 1 more gp. It's not so much decreasing lotto odds as it is I'd rather get bumped from 3rd to 4th or 5th than bumped from 5th to 6th or 7th.

Never would've thought Hall would land us a fresh young stud though. Still lots of hockey left to be played.

I do think MartysBetter88 makes a good point that AZ could fall down decently in the standings; and with Taylor Hall unlikely to resign they might decide to move him. The 2nd pick seems likely to stay a 3rd rounder but this years 1st could easily become a late middle rounder. This draft is supposedly deep so that could end up quite decent.
