So they laid an egg tonight. They've been great at home, and against metro teams. Classic look ahead to the Caps. Hope they get this one out of their system and put up a better effort Saturday

True character of a playoff bubble team.
The flyers are not good enough to look past anyone.
These are the games why as a team you miss the playoffs.

I think they were looking ahead to Dallas in the 2000 ECF. That is the only way to explain it.

Saying they were looking ahead is letting them off the hook. In fact this entire post is an excuse.

Even more of a reason we should have took care of business, this is embarrassing. If I was AV I’d walk off the bench

The flyers might have 45 shots but most weren’t high end chances.

The Flyers aren't in a race with Pittsburgh. Their results are irrelevant to the Flyers.

could have been a manageable 4 point gap with a win.

What's up Hammar? How you been? Yeah, but do you really think the Flyers have a chance to catch the Pigeons? I don't. In fact this loss will prob knock the Flyers playoff odds below 50%

The Islanders were down 3-1 to a bottom feeder at the same time the Flyers were down 2-0.

Fishsticks come back to get 2 points in regulation, while the Fyers get skull (frank)ed 5-0 to the worst team in the NHL this side of the Red Wings. As pathetic as it gets,
