Plus he spends more time on the PK then Rafl. - jaws1955
He did start out slow, but I think that's because he missed camp mostly. I've liked what I've seen from him this season. I can't imagine Lindblom is playing next season, so even if they do re-sign him with a slight raise there's still a couple spots to be won. (If you're worried maybe he'll take a spot away that a kid could earn) |

I think his next contract gets him 2 years and about 1.5 - 1.8, if he continues his play and doesn’t get hurt again

I'm a fan of Pitlick and I'd like to re-sign him but I don't think they should pay him that much.

I would not either, unless the can’t replace his skill set and I have to say he brings a good bit for a bottom 6 player. They don’t need the exact skill set but a competent player that brings something that drives play |

They're a major market team so they get national air time. Look how poor some of the Flyers teams were the last 8 or so years. Still got tons of national games... |

We shouldn’t get as much either. There should be more exposure for other teams. It shouldn’t be 15 flyers games to 1 panthers. Hockey fans will watch other teams play hockey |

I highly doubt that, the amount of draw a flyers game would get compared to a panthers is probably pretty big. We shouldn’t have 15 but the Chicago Washington Philadelphia games are always on because of Comcast |

Can someone tell me what Bob McKenzie is saying about UFA? I’m at a bar with no sound on the TV. |

My opinion is if he keeps playing the way he is and doesn’t get hurt he will get a 2 year deal around 2 mil per. I like his play and if he could cash in, he should. |

We brought back Raffl to this kind of money and now we’re talking about bringing back Pitlick to the same amount? Why would you sign your fourth line players to this kind of money when you can give your kids in the minors an opportunity making next to nothing or sign a guy to the league minimum? |

He spoke very highly of Philly today. Can’t find the exact quote but it was pretty much: “the fans in Philly are great. They love me and I love them. And I love the city of Philly” |

It’s highly possible, but I think a Pitlick decision will be determined by whether we sign Allison and Laczynski. Sure they could spend some time in the AHL, but they’re both 22 going on 23. A lot of people say Laczynski could step right in for a bottom 6 role. |

I don’t think they can bring that same dogged style that Pitlick brings. Many young players cannot. Pitlick is nothing that special. Theyre out there in ufa every summer. I just wouldn’t expect to replace what he brings with those 2 |

I'm a big fan of the player but I don't see why the Flyers would double his salary in a new deal.

They listed a few pending UFAs who are interesting. I think we could use a Josh Anderson but who knows.
MJL said something interesting that I agree with like a week ago. He hopes the Flyers stay away from UFAs. Now, I wouldn’t sign Taylor Hall but there isn’t much I wouldn’t give up in terms of trading for him. JvR, Jake Voracek, Shayne Gostisbehere. Keep in mind Arizona traded away Max Domi. Arizona trades for Kessel who couldn’t carry Toronto on his own in his prime. I don’t know what direction they’re going in. What I do know is the pressure might be on to get a return for what they gave up for Hall. JvR and Kessel have former chemistry. I’m not offering up details for a Hall deal. I’m just saying it would be beneficial to clear one of JvR or Jake’s deal and Hall would look good with Couturier, Konecny, Provorov and our youth movement moving forward. |

I'll take any number of Phantoms in that spot for a fraction of the cost. |

I don’t think it’s as easy as that but Pitlick is no more than a 1 mil dollar player. I’ll gladly have him back for that |
