Are you dieting? I'm trying to diet as well. For one meal a day I eat real good. Normally egg whites and 4 stripes of turkey bacon with some fruit.

Rest of the meals, a loaf of garlic cheese bread, 6 medium sized pancakes, 2 piece of fish with veggies and 8 perogies, a couple pop tarts.

Kind of a normal minimum I eat in a day.

Filet, cauliflower mash, béarnaise sauce asparagus for dinner. Though, you get a bit tired of it after a while. I really missed fresh fruit.

When I read American sports journalists (mostly) they seem to have their observations down to a science, especially football. They can really break it down and educate you on the intricacies of the game.

Canadian hockey journalists seem to peddle flaccid opinion, gossip, and rumours. Any interesting factoids about the game or team is usual found at the end of the article in bullet form.

Guys on here have done a good job identifying the few good hockey writers but they had to spend a good amount of time finding them, or at least, paying to read them.

When I read American sports journalists (mostly) they seem to have their observations down to a science, especially football. They can really break it down and educate you on the intricacies of the game.

Canadian hockey journalists seem to peddle flaccid opinion, gossip, and rumours. Any interesting factoids about the game or team is usual found at the end of the article in bullet form.

Guys on here have done a good job identifying the few good hockey writers but they had to spend a good amount of time finding them, or at least, paying to read them.

I follow a few insiders but I dont read anything that isnt written by Carol. Not trying to brown nose, but I havent been able to find anything worth continuing to read, canucks related, outside of Carol's blogs. Probably the same thing goes for every poster who shows up every day. It wont be long before carol moves up and on and we have a canucksarmy basement blogger replacing her. We truly are blessed with these.

It should have been one of those light hearted questions at the end of a piece about the Canucks position so far this season. Lots of good, interesting stuff going on. No need to get stupid about it.

I know it’s not a big deal but I think it’s a worthy talking point in an endless discussion on all things Canuck. Thanks for indulging me. Back to discussing 2024 rosters and whether or not a Russian crybaby will come back and solidify our D core.
