No there are about 7 guys he's developed since his tenure, those are the undrafted ones.
- neem55

By developed, do you mean in the organization or on the Canucks?

Nah, would love to see a Calgary/Edmonton first round matchup. Nashville or Arizona. Don't want to face Vegas or Chicago.
- NewYorkNuck

Home ice advantage would be great but VGK, WPG, NSH worry me more than Arizona, Calgary, or Edmonton.

So now ALL players not sent to Utica are not developed. Dumbest thing I’ve heard.

PArt of developing is leaving guys in their respective league's to improve and thrive. The other part is helping them thrive when they get to the AHL/NHL level. JV and MCCann were mistakes but he's done well overall with determining this process.

The Jets suck. They probably won't make the playoffs.

The Jets D has been falling apart, though they play the Canucks well. Nashville haven't seemed great at all.

Vegas and Chicago are teams that have the vets to just "turn it on" when the playoffs start. Don't want to face either.

Fair enough. I don't really consider anyone successfully developed until they are playing in the NHL regardless of what Nighthawk thinks.

We were talking about drafting and development, it is a relevant point.

I agree. But leaving a guy in the ncaa, chl or shl is as much of part a development plan for a player as in the Ahl/nhl too. They work directly with the player/trainers. Quinn and pettersson both needed to put on weight, both were left back a year even though clearly(now) having the nhl skill level. I like the patience in those moves and many others. Juolevi has been tough, but he’s almost NHL ready. Can’t plan for that many injuries.

I think the worst player I’ve ever seen “developed” was gilbert brule. It was criminal what CB did to that kid.

The fan base is a bit neurotic because of what the team has put them through over the past 50 years.
