Boeser passed that puck to where fat burger should have been, instead of where he was.

He's still drafted better than most GM's in the league with the picks he had. Since Linden has been gone this team has been on the right track. Also he still has plenty of the guys he traded for in the lineup, no GM hits on all his trades or signings. Must be hard for you haters to see Green and JB's plan coming together effectively.

As I added above, we are starting to get what we hate most about Toronto base media.

I know it’s not a big deal but I think it’s a worthy talking point in an endless discussion on all things Canuck. Thanks for indulging me. Back to discussing 2024 rosters and whether or not a Russian crybaby will come back and solidify our D core.

You forgot how badly the Canucks had to suck in order to be in that draft position year after year.

The team hasn't looked better since Linden left? Jb's plan for the team with Green executing is finally coming together? It's hard for you as a hater?

Which is wrong? Look pretty bang on to me.

I've been all for tanking, I haven't forgotten anything and I predicted a bubble team this year as we have been getting better. My arm isn't sore, sometimes my eyes are when I see babies like you still complaining about everything Canucks while they are killing it.

No one is complaining just pointing out some facts that are conveniently forgotten when the fanboys all start frothing at the mouth. Enjoy the rest of the game.

Fans are turning on the team quite quickly. It's time for the Jets to make a GM and coaching change.

1. Linden has nothing to do with anything. The plan was the plan, it didn't change with Linden leaving. If you believe that Jim has done/is doing a great job, then you should be thankful Linden hired him.

2. Plenty? Plenty of players he traded for are still in the lineup? Sutter. That's one. Pearson in a round about way. Every other player he gave up draft picks for is now either in the minors, playing in Europe or for another team.

3. Why is being critical of performance a segue to being a "hater"? Does that make you a slurper? In case it isn't obvious, that last question was rhetorical.

That team sucked goat balls for years in order to be drafting top ten for several years?

Imagine if he had all those draft picks back that he wasted filling in the age gap with players who are now in Europe or the AHL.
- 1970vintage

The risk of not filling the age gap is that the room gets handed over to a bunch of kids. Young NHL players need parents to and role models they can talk to (big age gap if the room is made up of only 30+ year old players and 20 year old players).

JB does not get enough credit for considering the human psychology associated with building strong teams (similar to the draft criteria he implemented for his scouts).

Team still has work to do but they have a good mix of young studs and solid role models. Hopefully they can keep it going.

Sportsnet with a headline “are the Canucks cup contenders”.

There’s still a good chance they don’t even make the playoffs yet let’s talk cup win...

Are these articles written because people are running out of things to talk about? Or is it just click bait? I’m not going to read it out of disgust.

Yes that is one fact. But what you actually said is I forgot that, which is incorrect. Rebuilding teams need good draftpicks. Many Great teams sucked for years before getting good draftpicks (oilers, hawks, LA the list goes on). They were looking like a better team last year, hence my prediction. Rebuilding teams don't just flip a switch and are better. It takes time and development, and yes for sure a couple really high picks in EP and Hughes. Funny thing is: I always waved the flag on how important bulding around top5 is, so really it's you who forgot.
