I agree, Boeser has improved his game defensively 10 fold. Personally I have no problems with the lack of scoring right off the bat, I think people need to see what he has helped prevent with his new playing style.

As with most things in life people only want to look at the “sexy” aspects and gloss over the preventive aspects.

Oh , IMO disclaimer.

Exactly. Ppl worry about points from BB why? We don’t lack scoring.

Are you thinking Bailey should get a shot with AG line?

So what you’re saying is that Kassian is a weak female dog who can’t handle a few drinks and a little blow? Another reason not to like him.

It's nice to see play like that again. Found it to be a real treat

Ok you wish to talk goaltending. So here's the challenge.....see if you can tell if there's a definitive difference in where Markey vs demo place their rebounds and how it affects the forward play
Watch some games with this in mind and we'll talk after

- SMBDragon

No need, I can tell you right now.

Demko is more of a puck handler. Likes to play the puck up the ice himself more. He's not as soft on his rebounds. Kicks them past traffic to the wing more than Marky. It's great to get the breakout going, but can be bad if the winger is busy covering.

Marky likes to kick them to the corners, which is the way I was taught, because it's out of trouble there. His rebounds are softer. He'll still kick to the wing just not nearly as much as Demko. He doesn't handle the puck as well or as aggressively as Demko, but he's gotten a lot better at it over the last couple of years. Another thing Marky has on Demko right now by a slim margin is he absorbs tough shots better.

Stance wise, both of them have become more upright in the last year or so. But Marky holds his feet longer and will stand in places Demko goes into the butterfly or VH. That's just offhand.

You should know better than think outside the box on here. At least you can take comfort in knowing they are seldom right.

I’m just wanting 3 lines deep for match up problems for other teams.

If you put us as a collective, you can take everything, everyone thinks and pretty much the opposite will happen.

You need to spend some time at the woodpile. Maybe calm down a bit.

Let's talk Bob's list(and his polled scouts)
I'm just happy the scouts know better than the amateur squad and have Noel Gunler not in the top 15.

Some of my favs moving up the boards, Tyson Foerster and Luke Tuch (I've seen them in the 60 and 80s in some mocks.

I still don't get why people think Stranges is better than Evangelista. He has 11 more points in the same amount of games.

Thanks. I did manage to sneak out for an afternoon skate in the middle of it. I find it as therapeutic as a good trip to the woodpile. Bloated deserves some credit, he picked up a lot of the slack.

We've seen a number of effective lines this season so I think it's nice that Green has options when players aren't going.

We don't have many playmakers on our team and I think Brock needs that to be a high end player, especially if he isn't the go to guy on the PP.

Roussel was really good with Horvat so I would be interested to see that combo with Brock

I also still think Ferland is going to be a key piece and it will be interesting to see where he slots in. He's got some underrated playmaking ability IMO.

- belcherbd

We don't need any play makers sorry. Petey top line Bo #2 Gaudette #3 we are set for the next 8 years
