Well they are a good team now see how the luck changed and they took advantage.

What are odds Ferland gets activated to replace Motte... would that take waiving Schaller?

I was thinking the same thing but apparently he has a conditioning stint in Utica first so it won’t be for awhile if so. By the way Mottes arm was dangling it wouldn’t surprise me if its dislocated, he might be gonzo for awhile. If so, I’d rather see MacEwen over Schaller first.

Probably a separation or collarbone. I dislocated my shoulder a couple of summers ago, it's more severe than a separation. It's hanging and the first instinct is to grab your elbow and pull your arm up. He wasn't doing that.

Really good third period, first and second not so much but they played better tonight
- Pacificgem

They may have looked better to you because Canucks are a good team vs not so good Sharks. But they played a better game against a great Blues team.

It's a good strategy. Much easier and less painful to block a pass than a shot. We've got a guy that has a 100+ mph laser trying to feather diagonal passes through seams...go figure.

When I played I'd just let it rip, the blocker will think twice next time about stepped in front of my slapper. They'd start to move over.

It's a bad break for Motte but he was most likely scratched for Ferland return. So maybe his conditioning stint is over by Sunday.

Does his call up to roster require Schaller to be waived for cap space?

Yeah and usually guys take a knee to block, so they have to recover to get back into position. Plus the Goalie isn't the only source of rebounds. Shot blockers give them up too.

The difference between this team and teams of years past is I always knew we would win. I said to my TO buddy I was with, “we are getting crushed but we will find a way as we are far more talented.” The boys didn’t show for two periods and still got it done. In a strange way it’s kind of a statement game

True. This is a good team now. Those reluctant to recognize that are not looking at facts and falling to emotions of being burned.
