I am of the belief that Eichel knows what level of legend he would be if he brought the cup to Buffalo.

He's already a legend in the town, with no team success to show for it. Why wouldn't he fully engage in getting a level of superstar that no one in Buffalo has been able to achieve?

I don't think he's ever relished in the fact that he is the guy. He's always been the guy to put a team on his back, and now he's getting the recognition in the best league for hockey in the world.

I was in fact wrong.
I didn't think that it was even possible to do as poor a job as beady eyed douche Murray had done in his many drunken stupored years here.

I remember fondly how many of these same posters adored Murray and yet, I was able to see right through him from the word go.

I now have no need to be proven right, my ego isn't important any longer.
I just want the never ending parade of excuses to stop and the stench of failure to at long last release this franchise from its grasp.

I am not a follower anyway. I am disgusted with this team. 10 years of crap hockey is ridiculous and inexcusable. other teams can turn their teams around in 3-5 years, hell some in 1 (see Montreal 2015-2016 & 2016-2017)

5 coaches and 2 GM's since Lindy & Darcy, first overall pick, (2) 2nd overall picks (one generational talent) (the other very good winger) and that is really it in 7 franking years... All us fans eat the shat sandwich that we get served every year by Pegula and Jbotts, we get super excited for players like Scott Wilson or Frolik, with the hopes that we can turn our season around. when in reality they are just 3&4 line role players (in which we have 3/4 of a team full of them). We have 4-5 NHL quality players, Skunk, Skinner, Oloffsson, Montour, Dahlin and one GREAT player in Jack. That is just not enough, In todays NHL you need to solid scoring lines for sure and the 3-4 lines have to chip in to help. We have 1 line, and the makings of another one and we have done nothing to address it, NOTHING we had the same problem last year..

I have ZERO faith that Jbotts can fix this roster in the next 3-5 years. Can he sure, but I seriously doubt it. I am just so done with this team.
