Yeah perhaps. Nothing like learning how to fire out a good power chord - TheSabresTaco
My favorite thing about learning guitar was playing in Drop D.
It's one finger power chords.
So much joy was had. |

And a 3C and a 3RW
No more counting on prospects. If Cozens is too good to send down, then waive or trade a 4th liner in camp.
No more "surely it will work out to shoehorn this prospect into the middle 6" - jcragcrumple
Might need to, I am hoping that Botts brings in that 2C and a good RW that way players can slot in where they should be |

On Spector's page I offered a very knowledgeable Pens fan Sheary for Galchenyuk and added ERod to even cap space.
He responded with Pittsburgh having to add 3rd because ERod is an RFA.
His counter offer was Sheary for Gally with the Pens retaining 20% of Gally's contract.
Either way I hope he passes his proposal on to Rutherford.
He finished his response with this unrelated comment:
"BTW …. I’m still reeling from the Botteril steal of Montour for a 1st and Guhle ☹️" |

The only way the ownership will listen to fans is hit them in the checkbook! That is don’t show up to games, buy merchandise, etc. botts knew from the beginning he needed another top 6 forward but continues to sit on draft picks! Why? It’s not like like our “top” draft picks have all turned out well! Skinner should be with eichel and that’s all on “Ralph”! Sam should not be on a top line in this league! Eichel Skinner Olaffson should be our top line. And ENOUGH OF THE DANG 11 forwards 7 d lineups! We need the scoring help so it makes ALL THE SENSE IN THE WORLD to put in an extra d instead of a forward?? Cmon this isn’t soccer |

What use do the Sabres have for a UFA though? Why not just get the pick for Sheary |

It’d be like the Frolik trade. JB could say that he “did something”. |

Highest cost per point among forwards signed to a standard contract (min. 20 GP):
Justin Abdelkader - $587,398
Frans Nielsen - $411,585
Jay Beagle - $375,000
Milan Lucic - $358,537
Mark Jankowski - $272,358
Loui Eriksson - $252,033
Kyle Okposo - $237,805
Jeff Skinner - $231,065 - adambuffalo
Skinner is already Okposo and it’s only year 1 of contract. Only gonna get worse 🤢🤢 |

Try out before free agency. See if he is really just struggling because teams try to make him play wing? His best production has been playing center. Do it know and determine if he can regain form and has any desire to sign here.
If his play picks up in the next couple of weeks, but he indicates he doesn't want to sign here there is still time to flip him at the TDL.
What's Sheary going to get you anyway? A 4th? We gave up a 3rd to talk to a guy that said he was going to free agency regardless. At least this way you get to see if the guy meshes with the team. |

As a 50+ year fan of hockey and one that appreciates generational talent like Jack Eichel?
I would like to see Jack traded to save his career from the armpit of the NHL.
I absolutely detest watching this young man have to throw this franchise on his back every night with no help in sight.
Trade Jack and allow him to enjoy his career instead of wallowing in the never ending ineptness of these owners and franchise.
This team could move and I wouldn't even care any longer.
And this is coming from a fan that had an addition built onto his home and 100% dedicated it to the Buffalo Sabres.
I can't tell you the last time that I sat down and watched a full Sabres game.
It's been years, I know that.
So why, how would I miss them if they left?
I wouldn't. |

Like Hubie said, you're entitled to your opinion.
I am of the belief that Eichel knows what level of legend he would be if he brought the cup to Buffalo.
He's already a legend in the town, with no team success to show for it. Why wouldn't he fully engage in getting a level of superstar that no one in Buffalo has been able to achieve?
I don't think he's ever relished in the fact that he is the guy. He's always been the guy to put a team on his back, and now he's getting the recognition in the best league for hockey in the world. |

I've invested far more into this franchise than you.
That, I can assure you of.
Which makes my opinion quite 'valuable' to those that matter. |

Your investment doesn't matter to anyone. It's a personal decision each individual makes. Because you what you determined to be more than others should have no barring on how anyone feels about the team.
By admitting that you haven't watched a full game in years and telling others that they should feel like you do kind of reminds me of something I've heard before.
