For me its the seats i took over for my dad when we moved from the Aud so I have the history to them. If they were just random seats I got when i moved back i could walk away but the history and being 3rd row i have a hard time when the time comes not to renew.

I blame Trump because my 401k and personal stock portfolio is too high.

I'm close by 122 row 6.

Row 3 seats will never be available again. Especially in the 100level III price range. Gone is gone.

Cant turn them in.
Maybe sell the rights to flaccoville?

The legacy has many fans thinking twice about renewing.

Thats the other thing no chance getting them back once they are gone. Ill say this you can see my seats every telecast and dont see being able to get that again backing out.

As far as on ice, if you can't draft, you'll never be good. And the Sabres couldn't draft. Too early to say what Botterill has done, but Darcy was mostly inept, and so was Tim. Good thing Tim's Euro scout fell in love with Olofsson.
- TheSabresTaco

Totally true Taco, and Terry didn't have time to Drill another well, cause he been to busy getting drilled himself.

This is gonna take years, because you forced your last GM to sell the farm to speed up the process and it actually screwed you up the ASS for another 6 yrs.
- Buff36

I understand that, but there is a plan that isn't materializing in the NHL.

I would never tell someone how to spend their money. I just feel sorry for you and the folks that line the pockets of personified incompetence and get absolutely nothing in return.
- TheSabresTaco

I got 2 sets of nice glass mugs. ☝️

It's not just the $. Its the product on the ice.
Especially when its over in January.

Reselling tickets takes time and effort as well. I assume it could be profitable to some point. Right?

16 teams had scouts at the game Tuesday and 20 teams were represented last night. Too bad the team laid an egg both nights.
A small move I'd be interested in seeing is trading for Brenden Dillon from San Jose. He's a UFA, but would like to get him here to play 2RD. See if they would take McCabe back.
I've seen Dillon drop the gloves more than a few times and each time was directly after a questionable hit on one his teammates. He's big and strong and being a -2 on that team is pretty good (Burns, Karlsson and Vlasic are -22, -16 and -10 respectively). Bring him in now and see if he can be resigned.
McCabe gives them a cheaper replacement with a year left on his deal. They have $26.5m to 3 dmen who will all be over 30 next season and all signed long term.
Timo was the name being floated around, but Hertl going down for the season I don't see Timo being moved. That may be revisited in the offseason.

- adambuffalo

gonna have to outbid Boston and Carolina for Dillon.

Both have inquired, and I'm not sure spending futures for an impending UFA is something the Sabres should be doing right now.

Was Elliott Friedman on the instigators yesterday?

I thought he was in Friday’s and no mention of him appearing yet... lol

Disney is going to be interesting. ESPN is paying what appears to be way too much money for these TV contracts, and isn't recouping all its money through advertising. Plus all this "woke" bullpoop has made it even more unbearable.

Marvel and Star Wars are both at a crossroads. They will still make money, but I think Endgame was the peak for Marvel and Star Wars has pissed off a significant portion of its fanbase.

Called it after he was drafted. Said his ceiling was Ryan Nugents Hopkins and was called a troll because people thought he would be Malkin.

I would package Reinhart and Mitts in a deal for a player that can actually drive his own line. Maybe a Center so Okposo, I mean Skinner could actually do something for 9 million

Friedman was on yesterday. Dreger is typically on Friday's but he was on Wednesday.

His focus has been more on the Bills. There's no doubt it about it. And to some extent I can't blame him. The investment is higher, and so is the return. For that reason, it requires more resources. But there is no excuse for abandoning the team completely like he appears to have done.

heres the thing that it was for me..... its easy to sell the games you want to go to than the ones you dont..... all these promotional games sell super quick. Also if you list them for a reasonable profit and not being a greedy pig sells as well

That's the issue. I have 8 awesome row 3 upper seats that I bring the extended and family a few times a year.

1st 2 rows are approx. $23 more per ticket per game for the row right in front of us. Almost $1,000 per ticket x 8 seats.

8 together vs. The rangers, leafs, habs are easily sold in past years.

This year I still have all 8 to the rangers hawks and flyers.

People are fed up.

Also what has me thinking is Ok my season are 5k

IS say a cruise for the family > season tickets

Especially when i can buy tickets on the secondary market for cheaper than the cost to park

- hubie

Right. Sure, you don't have those legacy seats. But you can take your family to a handful of games a year for.. what. $30 a game?

Funny you talk cruise, my wife and I haven't had a real vacation since before my daughter was born and I've been harping on a short cruise for like 5 days straight.

We finally did a cruise this past May to celebrate our 5 year and was our first time alone in years. With an extra 5k I can do a say Disney cruise vs a Carnival

Nurses night, college students night, girls night out. kids day $15 tickets.

They have a promotion for all the week games.

Selling for under season ticket price is a kick in the groin

I'm female doging , but I'm still their demographic.
Still gonna hang on as a sth

woof. Think I'll wait another 5-6 years before we start throwing the Disney cruise around.

I really enjoyed both Royal and Norwegian.

My Saturday tickets are listed on the HUb for 7 dollars under my cost so once they take their 10% out the loss is even more.

Tuesday vs Det how much under will I have to go to sell..... so I have to shlep down to the arena and watch a bad product

We've done nothing wrong and we expect you all to renew your tickets cuz this year gon' be better.

(frank) you,

I am 46 and this year was the first year that I could feasibly afford season tickets. I shelled out 3800.00 for tickets and I have regretted it ever since. I can't wait until they call me next year to renew, I will go full Duane on them. as it stands right now I could care less if I go to another game the rest of the year/life...

I am in 318, 4th row, I sold my tix last night for $9.25/ea. Earlier in the year I could not even sell my Leafs tickets for that amount.

At least you could always count on the Canadian teams going for face vaule or more, now they don't even sell

I found with the fans from the north you need to have 4 tickets together.
im seats 3/4 and last year we traded for 4 with seats 1/2 and i sold them very quick
this year black Friday just he 2 sold very very very little profit compared to last year
