I'm not buying that terry doesnt care, since he purchased the Bill's. He may have a new shiny toy, but still wants the Sabres to succeed. It's a pat on the back. Recently it's been a slap to the face, being the Sabres owner.

My sourse says the pegulas were considering a combined hockey/football downtown entertainment venue. They publicly announced the study recently.

I believe they are/were waiting for the stadium study, prior to addressing the key bank arena.

Sounds like it's not plausible (dual stadium)

Cool to hear. I think a dual center could be really awesome. Tear down the arena and extend canalside into it's place.

Beyond that, and it sounds like we're stuck with the arena, there's absolutely no excuse that they can't do general maintenance in there. Absolutely no excuse, arena study or not. It's embarrassing.

To be as successful as he has been, he has had to surround himself with smart people. You can only go so far without capable people paving the way.

He needs to apply these principles to the the hockey team. Maybe he truly believes in Botterill. He needs to make a statement about what he's seeing, rather than waiting for the end of the year.

Maybe after Super Bowl week we will hear something.

For me its the seats i took over for my dad when we moved from the Aud so I have the history to them. If they were just random seats I got when i moved back i could walk away but the history and being 3rd row i have a hard time when the time comes not to renew.

I blame Trump because my 401k and personal stock portfolio is too high.

If you can "acquire" rights from another longtime disgruntled fan, that's the way to go.

Sabres transfer ticket rights with out seat restrictions, unlike the Bill's.
The Bill's wont transfer outside if immediately family between the 20 years lines.

As far as on ice, if you can't draft, you'll never be good. And the Sabres couldn't draft. Too early to say what Botterill has done, but Darcy was mostly inept, and so was Tim. Good thing Tim's Euro scout fell in love with Olofsson.
