Shero is good short term but not a long term fix, he will have some good trades but his drafting has been suspect when it hasn't been top 3

He never fixed the devils D and the goalies are a mess but will give him a pass as no one is taking Schneider since he hasn't recovered from his injuries and lost his game

He is too loyal to the pens organization

You can look at the subban trade and in hindsight say it was a bad move but since hynes was fired and hall traded subban has played better but not putting up the numbers and the devils still didn't give up much, it's just subban is overpaid by alot

He can be great for a rebuild if he has all the assets and is picking high in the draft but that's about it
