For all the "Skinner isn't producing or worth his contract" posts, Eichel has had literally almost everyone else on the team on his LW at some point, and none of them can score a goal.

There are 3 players on this team who can score on Eichel's line: Reinhart, Skinner, Olofsson.

Maybe try Reinhart with Skinner and Olofsson and see if our 10 million dollar man can turn someone, ANYONE into a 20 goal scorer like say, Crosby? McDavid? Barkov? MacKinnon?

Reinhart cannot do poope away from Eichel yet no one seems to mind.

Yeah that too. I just get sick of hearing “player x” makes 9mill he should score blank. It don’t work that way. It just don’t.

The player doesn’t sign himself to the contract the team does. The team can easily say no.

Sure you hope the player excels but sometimes they don’t. Furthermore skinner was on pace for his average season anyway. But of course beciase he makes 9 mil we are expecting him to score 40 plus every year, with NO center or winger help at all. I said before he was hurt I was impressed he had 11 goals with the centers he played with.

Yes the team can say no, and then everybody on these boards would have shredded this team for letting him walk. The point is he still gets chances, no matter who he has played with this year. Would we all like 40 goals again sure, we all know it's not gonna happen every year. But a goal here and there would sure help and that hasn't happened.
