Yeah that too. I just get sick of hearing “player x” makes 9mill he should score blank. It don’t work that way. It just don’t.

The player doesn’t sign himself to the contract the team does. The team can easily say no.

Sure you hope the player excels but sometimes they don’t. Furthermore skinner was on pace for his average season anyway. But of course beciase he makes 9 mil we are expecting him to score 40 plus every year, with NO center or winger help at all. I said before he was hurt I was impressed he had 11 goals with the centers he played with.

I feel bad for the guy. I am sure he has no interest in staying here so hopefully he is traded at the deadline and has a decent playoffs and end of year to salvage his value.
