mitts has done next to nothing in Rochester since being sent down... Cozens is at least a year away still and probably more but it does sound like a botts plan,I'll give you that.
Girgs-Larsson-Okposo. ummmm seriously who cares. - gordong
Not true, Mitts has been doing quite well after a slow start down there
LOG line has been good, inarguably so actually
Your statements are showing your true lack of knowledge about the team this season dude |

Not the points but the defensive roll, they’ve done pretty well. I would keep that line together. Or replace Gus or Larry... we are stuck with Kyle.... I’ve liked Larry in the defensive roll... so I’d try and upgrade Gus if you can... |

He started slow, but he has 5 goals and 8pts in the last 11 games, still needs to keep working. How many points is he supposed to have. |

The Log line is fine now but 2 extentions make that line cost a lot more than its worth |

That's fine, you are the one who brought up games and points. He is starting to play better, and like I said he still has things to work on. |

Thanks MHP, Surgery went good. Went in at 6:30 was out at 8:00, Thank God they just removed a few bone spurs and some scar tissue and tightened up a couple of the harnesses holding the bicep muscle in place. Nothing like the last surgery - Buff36

I’ll give u the ROR trade example
I actually thought of that too
It’s not that I’m not for hiring a Hockey Ops guy to help in a situation like that should it arise again, it’s just that the ROR trade was 2yrs ago,
and i can’t really think of anything specific since then (as far as the roster goes) that a PoHO would’ve changed
I don’t think it’s nearly as big a deal as some make it - jdfitz77
There is probably a list of examples. Another us this...
Jason, why is Ralph playing Bogo so much, at the expense of mostly Miller, the guy you just traded for? Let's have a discussion on the ramifications of him, a pending UFA, with a strong history of lost games per season to injury, coming off of major surgery, with a crazy high salary ... what are your expectations should some ill-advised GM want him...a 6th?, a 7th? Is playing him and reinforcing that behavior of going public, is that worth the risk that other players may do the same? You have a mutiny on your hands with ROR, Bogo, Erod...You may want to direct Ralph differently...like sit him for the remainder of the season. We can limp along just as well with the 6th as without it. Think of what that is doing for other players thinking of doing the same. |

Rotator cuff or torn labrum? - jochfr
First one was for Rotator Cuff, Torn Bicep tendon, and Torn Pectoral muscle. This was just a follow up for some bone spurs and remove some scar tissue and a little work on the bicep. |

How about a discussion of sending tage to Rochester last December?
Starting mitts in Rochester or sending him down late last season?
Maybe after seeing the hole at 2c last year a discussion of the plan at 2c this year, and relaying on mitts and mojo (a 3lw) for 2c?
How about a discussion about starting a season with so many d men and putting a time table on moving one, even if it’s a perceived loss?
Maybe a discussion of switching sheary to a rw?
Or giving a few of the kids a shot earlier?
Or in season how detrimental it could be to the d and monte to continue playing 7 of them and having monte swap sides and partners shift in and shift out...
Sure, I can’t think of ANYTHING an experienced hockey president could discuss with his young GM and guide the ship just a little better.... I’m sure Kim is up on all these hockey matters... - Gr8daygo
Nope, don't need anyone with experience guiding, challenging, reviewing the Roster Plans. Nope, it is all working perfectly! Look, we are 9-2-2! |
