It’s like you just ignore his faults. I hear you say he inherited depth on the roster. Oreilly would look good right now as our #2 Center. He should of traded Kane for a player instead of a pick. Kept foligno. There’s a whole line of “depth” right here.
Botts sucks. Has he made some good moves? A couple. Have his blunders cost us way more? Absolutely. - Fattony1187
What the (frank) are you talking about, do you (frank)ing read or just post bullpoop. I said I would have never traded for ROR or Kane, that they should have just kept the rebuild going at that time.

Then blame the owner, if your boss at work tells you to do something, do you not do it and tell him he's wrong? No, you do your job and that's what Murray did. - SABRES 89

Sure and delaying it one off season and getting one last crack at the lotto while 2/3 of the deadweight come off the books is not a bad thing. - Pegullaville

C'mon man, every time I call you out on your doublespeak, you just call me an bumhole instead of addressing the relevant points - jcragcrumple
Because the points aren’t relevant. It’s just you bending reality to fit your narrative
I’ve already pointed out your “doublespeak” multiple times
You claim Botterill just sits on his hands, is scared to make a move, and you repeat it over, and over, and over ad nauseam, yet the absolute second someone mentions that he’s being patient, you pivot to “he’s made all these trades and wasted these assets!!!”
Yes it is, it's actually horrible are you serial? - BeadyEyedDouche
Leafs weren’t trading us Kadri. Could we have moved the 2nd for Burakovsky and caved in and gave Zuccarello, Nyquist, or Donskoi the extra 1-2 years and extra $1M they got from their respective teams ? Sure.
We’d be slightly closer to the playoffs but still not a playoff team.
I’d rather the wheels fall of the bus and draft Lundell/Rossi and dream about having a solid 1-2-3 down the middle including Eichel and Cozens/Mitts.
Sure, since he did trade them away
But just about everyone here saw them as very replaceable players
And idk that they’re any better than Sheary & Vesey
Maybe they are
But not enough that it’s making much of a difference - jdfitz77
Good post
I'd personally rather have foligno and Ennis
I appreciated both those guys as a fan.

You cannot know this. Why do people keep talking in absolutes about things that they have no clue about and things Botts didn't even try to do?
If we send them our 1st from this year for him, they absolutely take it.

It’s hilarious - sbroads24
I mean both can easily be true. Rather than make a big splash for a difference maker, he chooses to fritter away a 2nd and 5th for miller, a 3rd for Vesey and a 4th for Frolik.
He doesn't want to get burned again on a big deal, so he gets burned on many small ones instead

Miller was good enough for LV's top 6 during the finals.
Bogosian, Risto and Okposo are the only Murray contracts that are still on the team. Everyone else Botts gave contracts to or brought in. All I hear is how great he is with the cap. - Fattony1187

Yes I would tell him, especially if it will cost him more in the long run. I have been doing my job for a long time, it's all about putting a good product out the door, and making money. - Buff36
No, you don't. He was told what to do and it was done.
If the Sabres could play with the same anger, reckless abandon, borderline insanity and aggressiveness as this board we’d have a real chance at the cup. Just sayin.
