So my gripes:

#1: NHL TV. I had a meeting last night and knew I’d miss most of the game. So I turned off all notifications and changed nhl tv settings to ‘hide score’. Got home around 9 and tried to start the game from the beginning. For a split second it showed a live feed, and just my luck it was a 2nd intermission screen shot clearly showing a 2-2 score. I still watched from the beginning but was pissed.

#2 I thought they played well and thought the sens played well also. Good back and forth game. I hate to chomp my gum and say thats a good team over there but the Sens looked like a legit team not a cellar dweller. Not sure that’s even a gripe but I still like this team. It was an entertaining game until the empty netters.

#3 Special teams don’t matter.

We are one of the best defensive teams in Hockey at 5v5. Ralph isn’t the one letting in 20 more goals than expected over the course of a season, Ullmark and Hutton are.

Our problem is personnel for the most part, however he and his coaching staff need to figure out our special teams.

We are one of the best defensive teams in Hockey at 5v5. Ralph isn’t the one letting in 20 more goals than expected over the course of a season, Ullmark and Hutton are.

Our problem is personnel for the most part, however he and his coaching staff need to figure out our special teams.

based on fancy stats, you say we are one of the best defensive teams, yet a .500 club


and the top 9 was pretty much hand picked from botts other then eichel and reinhart


and the team comes out flat a lot


there might be a silver lining, but the result of the lining might still be another 3 or 4 years away

But but we could of used that 2nd rd pick on guys drafted 5-10 picks after our pick that 5 years later we cherry picked from the best of that draft.

Or that 2nd rd pick could of been used on a nobody like Roy who was picked there

Did I say it would have, it could have. And what did ROR do for us, please tell me, certainly didn't make us better. Compher and Zadarov could have filled rolls and maybe the picks and players used to replace them would have been different
