I would gladly take gallant and move Ralph to an executive type role.

I want a coach that will scare the poop out of the players

- Sabretooth9

what has ralph done to deserve a promotion?

he can't motivate them after 9 days off to play hard vs the lowly sens at home

What the Pegula's need to do is Hire a President of Hockey Ops, then a VP of Hockey Ops, then a GM. They need layers. Experienced Hockey people at the top.

The Pegulas and a GM just doesn't seem to be working. They should give the President the final say on hockey matters.
- mattsox

Ppl keep saying this
Has it worked for the Leafs?

Even if LaFontaine was still here,
whoever the GM is would be making all the personnel decisions
The administrative role a “Pres of Hockey Ops” would not have had us trading for Haula instead of signing MoJo, or drafting Chychrun instead of Nylander, etc etc

Maybe they’d have a say in something big,
like the Skinner signing
But i doubt much else would be been different

Shanahan isn’t making the trades for the a leafs,
is he??

Dreger said on the instigators that there were some rumblings about Risto.

Just a guess but it wouldn't surprise me if Winnipeg inquired.

Never fear botts will find away to (frank) that trade up too.... at this point he should be benched of any hockey trades.

Funny you and Homie mentioned that. This is from the Athletic:

"Oddly enough, Roslovic is the only player from that deal left on the rosters of the Jets and Sabres.

Roslovic might also make the most sense as a potential trade chip for the Jets to try and find that upgrade on the back end, though he was considered to be on the untouchable list at this time last year when the Jets were looking into the possibility of a Mark Stone deal."

Get (frank)ing real if you think the Sabres will take the "untouchable" Jack Roslovic for Risto

Goodell did his yearly “new era field is a dump” comments. While I agree that the bills need a new stadium. It’s coming, just a matter of when

I would rather stay the course and not trade Risto and the Roslovic idea is horrible. I know the Jets need a top 4d and if Chevy wants to deal it will cost. No reason for our current soon to be fired GM to move him.

we drafted samuellsson and Johnson
not to mention nylander and mittelstadt

misses like this set franchises back multiple years at a time

(which we can't afford when we're already chasing far more competent franchises)

we have 1 asset (Cozens) and he is a fringe 1st liner, best case ontario.

there's 1 analytics person on staff that no one has ever heard of and came from previous regime. we're a lost, pathetic, joke of a franchise operating as if it's medeival times

From sportsnet.ca link above:

8. The Sabres resumed their season with a 5–2 home loss to Ottawa on Tuesday night. At all-star weekend, I heard some talk of the frustration around the organization and how much the losing is wearing on owner Terry Pegula. We’re coming up on nine years since he bought the Sabres. At that media conference, he promised to spend, which had Sabres fans dancing with joy. He’s spent on players, coaches, executives, scouting — everything. They made the playoffs that first season, losing in seven games to Philadelphia. But there have been no playoff berths since, and the team is 80 games under .500 in that span.

Players credited Ralph Krueger with changing the attitude around the team, and Jack Eichel’s having a Hart Trophy-calibre season. But they’re 10 points out as we wake up on Wednesday and there are no easy answers. The disappointment is not going unnoticed.

- Beethoven

Expect more changes. Hopefully the weary Uncle Terry will realize he needs a president of hockey ops and a new GM.

I dont blame Scott Wilson personally but I'm pretty sure playing with him made ROR lose his love for the game
- jcragcrumple

Nah, pretty sure it was not being named captain and having the entire city wanna blow him like they did Eichel

Terry had 72M to spend recently, should of went to the analytics department and towards hiring another 100 amateur and 10 more pro scouts

Still my favorite trade idea to bring up with the jets: Bogo straight up for the rights to Big Buff. A conditional 2nd if he plays one game at RW for the Sabres. Another 2nd if he plays next year

I still have hope for Samuelsson and Nylander turned into Joker. Not sure where Mitts fits in an NHL roster and I have said it before but I hate the Johnson pick. Kaliyev has 32 goals and 71 points in 40 games for Hamilton.
