I'm sure it's been beaten like a dead horse already, but the team seems like they forced WGR to take the link down to the call from Duane, and now there are reports that the organization is not happy with Elliot Friedman's 31 thoughts column.
Okoposo left last nights game and didn’t return. I haven t heard why or what the update is. Soooo maybe we see Asplund back.
It’s the best shot at rearranging the deck chairs on the titanic.... but nothing will save this team until there is a bit more talent and
Heart... and maybe Gallant behind the bench. And Shero as the president... and kym can go focus on the bills...

“Then there are the Buffalo Sabres who have made the playoffs once in Terry Pegula’s nine years as owner. A sense of gloom and doom looms with more trades perhaps on the horizon. That may wait until the summer, however.”

Now? NOW?
Lol.
Every thing is great!!!
Kym is
CEO of PSE
President of Bills
on the Super Bowl committee
President of Sabers
chairing a committee to increase diversity in the NHL as per Bettman.
Involved with her daughter's skin care product line
It IS VERY impressive, absolutely no doubt.
She is obviously very busy.
Not every team needs a President, not every team has one.
I'd say, based on performance over the past number of years, the Sabres could sure use another rudder in the water. In a rough storm, team seems to be steering pararrell to the waves and taking on a poop ton of water.

Let's not forget her stakes in Buffalo real estate.
What she does for the community is great. What she needs is to instill a person that only gives a poop about the Sabres, and nothing else.

BINGO!
Next we will here BS about other franchises that have a President and how woeful they are, but won't admit this organization is absolutely lost and needs direction.
If you are continually drafting in the top 10 for years, and nothing changes...then something else is wrong. Paraphrasing of Mike Gillis interview in The Athlectic...which perfectly summarizes the State of the Sabers.
They need someone to evaluate the situation objectively, BEFORE the offseason.
This offseason is way too critical to take a chance of being wrong with Roster Formation once again. What would it hurt? If it came back and said, all is good...GREAT. it wouldn't though.
That should be Kym's first step...hire Gillis to do an exhaustive review by April 15th.

Well, I respect them for not making a giant purge day of their employees after a phone call calling them out. How absolutely poor would that be? - TheSabresTaco
While agreed, They also made WGR take down the Post.
Don't be whimps if you are going to roll out a garbage product, in a garbage arena, with garbage presentations, with garbage off ice PR.
Own it, accept it and say this is unacceptable.
If Terry or Kim would just come out and Say that, then we would be good. but instead we now have them blaming the media and the players are starting to as well.
