#Habs have had Scott Mellanby, Sean Burke & Eric Crawford all watch #Canucks over past two weeks https://twitter.com/pater...tatus/1221962071987888129 - VANTEL
Canucks aren't selling and Habs doubtful buyers so is an actual hockey trade brewing? |

I was working with my partner today who knows E Kane. He dropped a nugget . He said Kane has told him he heard rumors he was being traded to Golden Knights . Was told DeBoer loves Evander.
Could you imagine Kane and Reeves on the same team. That locker room would be must see. |

Frk's shot was beyond a bullet, an absolute laser beam
1 thing I noticed and I suspect a large part of his record setting shot was how incredibly fast he skated in at to take the shot. Physics dictates it will be faster with an already moving player. Stationary players will not record as high numbers than moving players.
What's amazing is how he was able to take that shot at that speed. Lots of skill needed.
Ultimately it's the secret to his success. Impressive! - SMBDragon
One thing that jumped out at me was that he started from behind the blue line and walked into it from like 35-40 feet so he had as you stated a tonne of speed. I may be wrong but I don't recall any of the nhl guys attacking the puck from outside the blue line.

We’re not rebuilding anymore, we’re just building on the core that was established during the rebuild. Stay in your lane meathead. When Benning traded away a first round pick for Miller the rebuild was officially over. |

It is over, they’ve established a young core, now you continually build on that until you find a combination that works.
In all seriousness Jim Benning and his staff have done an excellent job of identifying three special players in Boeser, Pettersson and Hughes to add to Horvat, Tanev, Edler and Markstrom from the Gillis regime. Not to mention the secondary players they’ve patiently developed in Virtanen, Demko and Gaudette.
There’s an established young core, as I said above, now the hard part is finding the right components to supplement them like Gillis did with the Sedins and company. |

Neat take. I don’t think Demko is a good goalie |

I have heard a few times but I am not sure where or if it is a reliable source. For some reason I thought I heard Friedman say it and I am not the reliable source with my memory |

It might be Green sending a message to Brock.
Or maybe even more cryptically, hindering Brock's ability to hit his contract bonuses. - bloatedmosquito
There are no bonuses after the ELC, until he’s onto a 35+ |
