I don't think Bergevin wants to move Petry at all. At least from what I've read. He thinks they'll be competitive next year and has no real option to replace him.

I've actually enjoyed the 8 day break without the Leafs...and hockey in general! Nice to actually spend time watching other stuff on TV with your family or just do other things. I completely avoided sports for the whole week. You don't realize how much you focus on a team through the season.

I hope Georgiev becomes a Leaf only because I know a Bulgarian guy who is an insufferable Habs fan and it would break his heart.

guys in the minors have to be hoping they are going to be the one to get the next phone call for that open roster spot.

it's gotta be demoralizing for him to get passed over so many times.

And because I hate myself, I continue to monitor ticket prices for tonight's game.

Some good ones:

- 7th row in Preds' end, right on the goal line. But it looks like rows 3-6 have no seats there, so you'd have unobstructed view. $90 per ticket.

- 5th row corner behind Preds' net. $75 per ticket.

- 3rd row, Preds' end, at hash marks. $138 per ticket.

- 7th row, Preds' end, at hash marks. $100 per ticket (probably better seats than 4 rows lower, IMHO).

- $126 per ticket to sit first row behind the penalty box. Terrible seats, actually, unless you want to jump in to fight Tie Domi.

- 12th row, right behind the Preds' net, $106 per ticket. They may not be for everyone, but this is my favourite place to watch a hockey game.
