The people have spoken. Nylander for Dumba has been rejected. I fully recognize what Willy is great at, but I’m also confident that (if the Leafs can make the playoffs) he’ll pull a disappearing act as soon as the on-ice real estate is harder to come by.

I’m stoked Willy has put up a lot of points this year but I would sell high on him and try and trade him for a good young D-man with term. Help rebalance the cap, positionally speaking.

Maybe y’all feel the same and it was just the Dumba part of that proposal (I admittedly don’t ever watch Minnesota but I thought he was supposed to be pretty good).
