Just reading back, and I wanted to give full props for this.

I'm surprised a millennial like you could even make this reference.

Slow clap.

i dont see the fit, like the article mentions. He is another Barrie type based on his stats. And I would like to know why he has fallen off a cliff, compared the last season.

doesnt make sense to me

What if Minnesota retained 1.5m? Would Dumba at 4.5m for the next 3.5 years be a good option for the top-4, or should the Leafs just stay clear of him altogether?
- Steven_Seagull

Minnesota would probably want to keep him. I don't see them retaining any salary.

If anything, we would need to add $$ to make a deal work.

Ceci, Johnsson and Bracco for Dumba and Hartman

I bought the special box set super-anniversary edition of the Christmas Special a few years ago - had a CD of the soundtrack and the blu-ray.

The blu-ray included a documentary about the making of the special - if you are a Charles M. Schultz fan, you should check it out.

tl/dr: When they first made it, they gave it to CBS, who basically thought it would tank hard (kids' special with jazz music? Most of the voices not done by professional actors? Biggest scene in the thing is just Linus quoting the bible? ).

Turns out it's the most-watched television show of all time.

I don’t watch dumba much but if he is another Barrie then I would want to stay away. We need shutdown defenceman. We already have too many Barrie types with Rielly, dermott, Sandin on the team.

Didn’t Kreider say he has all Canadian teams on his no trade list?
- Steven_Seagull

According to Burkie all players have all the Canadian teams on their no trade list.

I’m Peanuts junkie. Snoopy and Woodstock playing hockey on the frozen birdbath was priceless.

Stop the pucks and the D will be fine

Edit: I don’t actually fully believe that sentence but I don’t believe your either.

Both can be bad. That is possible if you didn’t already know....

Ok well let's move the conversation back to hockey. Why are people willing to put liljegren in trade proposals? We have yet to scratch the surface on his potential and is a homegrown guy. Don't see the point in trading him before he gets a real shot.

If there's interest in Johnsson, I think try and see what the best defender you can get in a deal for him. Either someone with term or an RFA that the leafs would still have control on. Lots of teams out there need a top 6 guy. Is Johnsson enough to land Montour? What about Brodin? Or Manson?

- matt1337

Trading him would be foolish.

Willie is not in with those guys yet.

- Fakepartofme

Bobby Mack said that. Well, in his wishy washy way of saying something without saying anything, so who knows.

I don't think they're shopping him though.

Kapanen/Johnsson are on the block for sure though.
