They could have got more for Subban at that time. Subban won a Norris (regardless of the shortened season and Weber won't even win this year in a career year leaving his total at zero Norris'). The Patches deal was good, can't argue that. But a broken clock is right twice a day.

The last paragraph was not meant to be offensive but only the truth. This organisation has won a championship only once under their new found french rules and the other 23 under English devils.

I think if they made it so one of the positions (GM or coach) HAD to be french, that would be a great compromise. I don't give a poop if they're french, english, african or chinese.......JUST BE QUALIFIED!! It's hard enough to win the goddamn cup!! Why make it harder on yourselves and the fans?
