I know it's 7, that's why I say they won't lose anyone of value.
would you really cry if they lose Byron? - fidopro
No.... but Byron was the 9th F on that list, Lehkonen or Armia are real possibilities though |

With the summer he had, I think he knows. He puts a face in public when he talks about the playoffs but what did he do for the Habs to make them? What he says for the fans on TV is one thing. What's been said between Molson and him 2 years ago with the reset is another.
Molson and him know this is not a contender and not even a playoffs team. But they have tickets to sell and butts to put in seats. That team is years away if everything goes right.
It's all about the future.....and selling tickets. - deadpoulet
If they know for sure and it really is all about the future, both Petry and Tatar will start the season somewhere else next year

Maybe give Seattle a pick to take him for his last year, they'll need to get to the floor - obie
Don't know if Seattle is going to draft almost all the defensemens available to throw everybody off. |

The time is now ... these players might be interesting assets for teams wishing to make a playoff push this spring.
If Bergy screws this up he should be burned in a public place ... I'll provide the gasoline myself. |

Well if their whole team is average, probably an average player. |

Publicly they do (they need to sell tickets) but ...
I can't believe they're stupid enough to think they can still make the playoffs. |

this year? they must realize it's too late.
but next year? pretty damn sure they're not ready to give up. it doesn't make any sense what so ever. |

Well of course, he's the link between Habs management and you.... if you wanna get a certain message across, you tell the media, doesn't make it true |
