What exactly is wrong with Tony's twitter feed?
Just scrolled through and didn't see anything controversial.
Personally think this is the dumbest thing ever.
Obviously he had some on ice issues that none of us really know exactly what happened which led to his benching several times last year, but as far as I know there hasn't been a single issue this year. |

I took Jan's advice and scrolled through ADAs Twitter. It changed my mind. It's not that he is a Trump person, it's that a large percentage of his posts are things that as a GM make me cringe and I would simply prefer he not post. This is for a guy who has been addressed for "maturity issues" multiple times and is still on a "prove it" contract.
Signing him to a long term deal scares me that he could turn into Antonio Brown if he knows the team is stuck with him and has to pay him to go away.
Gorton may be able get a kings ransom for ADA and I think he should. If he can bundle Smith with him to fix next year's cap situation that is even better. - Maskdman3
I think all famous people should stay away from twitter, but in general it is certainly only going to get worse
it really doesn't bother me as far as ADA goes though, I'd certainly entertain the thought of a king's ransom for him but I also don't want him going into a hall of fame career with someone else and we dumped him because of tweets.
I am currently of the belief that the next 6 years should include Panarin, Strome and DeAngelo and then figure the rest of the stuff out |

I think DZ set the bar high with tweeting pornstars to try to get some strange |

- NYR will play 20 games in 37 nights
- There will only be 4 times NYR have two days off inbetween games... literally everything else in b2b or 1 day off
- In other words, this week is the last time Rangers go more than 2 days w/o a game for rest of the season |

If it was just the tweets I wouldnt be worried but he has a long history of being disciplined and even traded. 90% of his tweets are either political or argumentative. This from a guy still playing on a "prove it" contract. You look at guys like Hank and it's all positive and community.
I could be wrong. I am all the time. I just see a risk of having our own personal PK Subban type situation. |

The on ice stuff definitely worried me, but it seems he worked that out.
If he isn't disruptive to the team I personally don't care what his opinions or politics are. I think PK rubbed people the wrong way because he "seemed" to want the spot light more than the team, Tony doesn't strike me like that kind of person.
I would love to see more personality in hockey, as long as it doesn't take away from the team concept and become an individual thing. Some of these guys are downright comatose in interviews.

I tend to agree and want ADA to stick around. That being said, Tony might be the type of locker room cancer you try to avoid. I really want to be wrong and I still prefer him to stick around but I am sure they are probably going to consider all options.
I personally don't give a (frank) what anyone believes for the most part, but the Rangers organization may feel differently than us. |

Has there ever been an issue of him being a problem in the locker room? I haven't heard that. Seems to be liked by his teammates.
Well the organization is a bunch of pussies. They fired Duguay for no reason. |

I'm just saying it wouldn't surprise me. The impression I get is that Tony at least appears to be able to put his hockey mentality on and not bring his personal BS to the rink. If it stays that way IDGAF what he does. |

I hate it but it does give Panarin time to recuperate. I hope whatever he has going on won't hamper him the rest of the season. |

They said "upper body" right? Probably not that serious, and you are right its a perfect time for him to heel up. |

I don't know the guy. I hope I'm wrong. I would love to have the second coming of EK65 already in a Ranger uniform. The people who need to know already do and will make that decision. If they sign him long term I suppose we will know |

Rangers have to sweep Detroit on that back to back right out of the bye week, Otherwise might as well just mail it in the rest of the way |

I would worry more about your boy Kakko honestly. Kreider on a point per game pace over the last 23 games I think |

Maybe, maybe not. Could have been mouthing off to the coaches, joking around during practice, etc.. We just don't know, but he hasn't been benched this year, and his having a hell of a year
We also tend to forget he was late teens early 20's when this took place. People mature. If I had a camera and social media on me at that age, i probably would be posting from the communal computer at the penitentiary. |
