So bobby Mac confirmed Dubas has had conversations with the Wild about Dumba.

I think they get him. They have the available pieces to make the move.

Kapanen as the main piece

Bracco as the prospect

Then a draft pick

I’d turn Bracco into Lil if it gets a deal done.

I haven't heard one person that said that. Not one person.

I perssonally enjoyed it. It was intersting and entertaining, my daughter thought it was amazing. I don't see how it hurt them one bit. Gave them the exposure they've been lacking.

I was at the rink all day yesterday, everyone enjoyed it. That's all everyone was talking about, how Great it was.

Saying it wasn't exciting is a brutal take. There was lots of skill on display, goals, tons of huge saves and at the end of the game it was decided off a save right at the end. The game was close and back and forth all game. Don't know how anyone could say that wasn't entertaining.

It’s good for women’s hockey.

I personally didn’t watch it because it’s not as exciting for me. I don’t care about the players and it’s the quality is less.

It’s great for women. But don’t get mad because someone doesn’t enjoy watching it.

Women’s hockey is slower.

I watch the NHL...I don’t watch any other league regularly because it’s slow and not even close to as exciting.

Its the way it is.

- Santo_44

It's different, but I don't think it's that significantly slower.

Kap,Lil and a 2nd/3rd?

Wild probably sends back a project type prospect back in the deal.

Which is what I argued against.

They will likely want a good American like Bracco

That’s fair.

Any type of marketing from the NHL is good.

Sure I’d rather give them Bracco.

Me thinks Kappy is a sought after player...at least it sounds like it. Dubas might be pushing Kapanen and a pick.

But the Leafs prospect system has made a jump this year.

Robertson, Abramov, Abruzee have all made pretty big jumps. All 3 of those can be a nice piece the Wild could look at. They are all longer term pieces though where Lil and Bracco could play in the NHL this season.

Leafs have zero cap. Kapanen and Ceci makes sense. Frees up 2.8 million after this year for Minny. Ceci is just the dump so I expect the picks and prospects still.

Well yeah I think adding Ceci is obvious.

The wild can even retain his salary and flip him at the deadline.

If there's one thing Dreger knows, it's offer sheets

Travis Dermott is signing an offersheet!

Wild would have to retain salary if they want Liljegren.

Looking into Mansons numbers he shouldn’t be as pricy as Dumba...there are risks because the last couple years he’s been average at defending.

Before that he was fantastic...I wouldn’t rule him out either but (frank) I hope he’s playing like he is because of the team he is on.

Kap is already apart of the proposed trade. That's giving to get. Liljegren is giving away on top of it.

I'd prefer Manson to Dumba.

I love Kap but A young top 4 D with term has more value than him.

Gotta disagree with you here.

I'd sooner give up a future 1st than a RHD that looks like he's on the cusp of being a reliable, two-way NHL defenceman who is controllable for a few more years and at a very reasonable rate.

I'd rather see the Leafs go after a D-man who is less in the Rielly mold and plays more like a Muzzin: Trouba, Dillon, Manson, et al. I doubt Trouba is going anywhere but Dillon and Manson could be had for the right price.

Frankly, I'd prefer to see the Leafs run with Sandin and/or Lillybust for the remainder of this season and try to sign Petro in the off-season than give up anything too significant. A long shot? Maybe. But there are plenty of other options that will, no doubt, open themselves up after this season.

He'd be fantastic... but I don't think the Habs would entertain a trade of that significance with the Leafs.

pfft... If the Leafs don’t make that trade, they wouldn’t be able to add Bracco into every deal.
- Steven_Seagull

I believe the other pick the Leafs received was Dermott when they traded down and passed on Konecny. So Konecny for Bracco and Dermott. I wouldn't be too quick to judge that trade.
