Some caller on Schopp and BD last Friday. Bashed the org for maxing Skinner’s value playing him with Eichel only to break them up the following year. Now they’re inflating Goalofsson. Hopefully he does well with a re-signed after requesting a trade ERod next year.
Anyone know how good coach Ralph was in his GM role in the UK soccer? Lots of suggestions to move him into director of hockey ops or some exec role. Can he actually do that job, and be good at it? While I like listening to his speeches and believe he is a motivator, is he even the right guy for the exec role? Just hire him to come in a few times a year as a contractor for a day at time to give a motivational speech. Nothing I’ve seen from his tactical coaching and in game adjustments etc and player personnel usage gives me confidence that moving him upstairs is the right call. This org is a mess. - riptheguard
From what I remember reading, Ralph did a great job in the roll with a limited resource team and got them further than expectations.

Everything is fine.
Sabers are really close to turning it around.
Jaysen has a plan, he aligned all the contracts for great turnover this upcoming season.
That Plan will be revealed in June and July when he announces team roster will be reconfigured to align with their new 2-3 formation and dress 8 forwards and 10 Defensemen. Obviously they will be eliminating the Center position
Kym is going to gave the Kee Banc Centr repainted in the new blue, and they get their new jerseys too, she had the order placed with DHGate last week.
To fund it, Seasons are being raised 17%, and food and drink prices at 761 will increase at a similar rate.
Frank this team, Frank the pegulas, Coach players and GM. That was a pitiful display. I can’t even call it hockey. My high school team played a better more organized game then these so called professionals.
If I was Jack I would want to get traded to ANY other team then stay here.
Skinners BS penalties are old. I would have stapled his ass to the bench after taking that penalty.

Sens got to knock the rust off. This game doesn't make or break the season. I completely understand if the team isn't up for it tonight and am totally fine with it. A win before the weekend will just be icing on the cake. Sabres are actually really good and have the league right where they want it. Skinner needs the puck to create create goals while VO is more of a traditional sniper and compliments Jack's game more. Do I think Jack likes having a look at a 40g 100+ pt season and getting national recognition as one of the best in the game yes. Do I think Jack has 29 at this point playing with Skinner all year no. Do I think Jack has personal issues with Skinner absolutely not. Do I think Jack has enough pull in the organization to have Skinner on his line if wants yes. He's a superstar and this is professional sports even if the product on the ice says different.

Do you trust Botterill to get that $35 million in cap space right? Repeating this corner's long-held view: The GM should either be on a very hot seat or be assisted by a veteran hockey mind serving in the team president role.
