As long as we add a few more pieces, yes we hopefully will. But 1 player does not make a team. With what we had in the pipeline and having the chance with all the picks 3 to 5 years ago this Franchise and team could have been a juggernaut by know.

Sens got to knock the rust off. This game doesn't make or break the season. I completely understand if the team isn't up for it tonight and am totally fine with it. A win before the weekend will just be icing on the cake. Sabres are actually really good and have the league right where they want it. Botterill has a plan and is flawlessly executing it.

When you draft 4 C's with top 8 picks in 6 years, you really shouldn't have to talk about overpaying to add a 2C.
