Like I said, if you find it too upsetting to read a differing opinion from yours, that's a you problem, not a me problem.
I read plenty of support for jason Botterill. I dont call people names for supporting him, but I try to articulate my point of view as to the facts at hand. If you can't handle reading a differing opinion, that's on you. I am always open to revising my opinion - jcragcrumple
If u were trying to start up some type of reasonable discussion instead of just b!tching and complaining about the exact same things every single day, then you’d have a point |

What if we didnt make a bunch of small trades?
You sure stevie y wouldnt take ?
4th rounder in 2020 (scandella)
3rd rounder in 2021 (vesey)
2nd rounder in 2021 (miller)
5th rounder in 2022 (miller)
For Larkin?
Wow, you havtn been reading cgags posts.
He makes it seem easy - Boss34
I appreciate the humor but I fought this battle already. Final point being, if in the insanely rare occasion you see this kind of trade, there's always a catch. And that catch was threefold for Skinner.
-He and the team divorced
-1 year rental
-Had a down year the year prior.

And GMTM would say the same thing. "Darcy only left me with Bailey and Baptiste"
The cycle continues - jcragcrumple
GMTM was left with about 200 draft picks. |

This is the type of player we’d want
But why is SJ (or any other team) giving up good young players like this?
Yeah, it happens here n there
But usually for other good young players
Not for the garbage that ppl think we can send for them
I forgot though...
Trades are easy, and 2Cs are traded all the time - jdfitz77
Maybe Steve Y is a "dumb gm"
Trades are super easy, I learned that in the erie county library system.

I felt like we were having a very reasonable discussion- Buff, Taco and Pegula among others were making reasonable points and we were having a good natured debate
Then you and Boss came in screaming LEAVE BRITNEY ALONE |

Your missing the point as usual:
All day everyday you post the same thing.
I disagree with you.
It's the fact that you post the SAME THING over and over that is my issue.
Whether I agree or disagree with you, YOU repeat the same thing (whining) ALLDAY.
OVER and over
ALLDAY EVERYDAY

We had nothing, that's why we were doing the rebuild. - jcragcrumple
i dont know if it was that high but it was higher. It had
risto
zadorov
armia
McNabb
compher
girgorenko
girgensens
McCabe
petterson
retrospect that isn't an amazing pool but alot of those guys were higher rated. |

Good post:
Also, skinner had 0 playoff experience and although no recent concussions, there is a history . That cant be a positive.
That was a unique trade and Carolina probably assumed skins wanted top term top $ regardless of his landing position.
Cant wait to see these guys tonight.
Skins will be with eichel by the 2nd period
We be clubbin' |

I forgot to add that he had a NMC. No one knows what he was thinking, but he certainly chose to waive it to go to Buffalo. |

It didn't amount to all that much though. The Sabres have the best player on that list and 3 of the top 6. I'd love to still have Compher, but the ROR trade was fair value and arguably was worth it in a vacuum. The rest is pretty meh |

Cal Pettersen would be nice to have right now.. but that had nothing to do with GMTM.. or maybe it did i have no clue why he refused to sign here |

"When we ranked the prospect systems of the NHL's 30 teams after the trade deadline, Buffalo finished first overall, with a ridiculous array of both top-end talent and depth. Getting No. 2 overall pick Sam Reinhart at the 2014 draft just made that group better."

one thing with GMTM was that he was terrible at getting the D.. he traded away two pretty decent Dmen there.. but oh well |
