I would think it depends how bad it is. I actually tried to rehab through a shoulder Injury with a slight tear in my rotator cuff and ended up ripping 3 of4 tendons fully and the other 1 ended up like a half tear, and tore my bicep muscle and pectoral muscle. Should have never tried working with the first tear, been out of work for 5 months know. Doctor who did my surgery at UB Ortho said could be a full year before I am totally healed. Can never tell if rehab will work.

Had a similar situation with my knee playing college baseball.
Came down to have surgery with a miserable healing time but faster vs just rehabbing it but take an extra couple of months. Obviously my time table is a little different than Connor who they would want ready for the playoffs.

Sabres 2000's night is Feb 13th. It would be cool if they could secretly sign Pommers that day and announce him with the starting lineup. They would have to sneakily get him to some practices before the fact, but he has been working out and said he was just waiting for a call. With only 24 games left at that point, he should be able to play at a high level without getting worn out like last year. 9g 9a in the first 2 months, 7g 6a in the next 4 months last season.

Yeah and would think there's really not a chance with his injury to make it worse, atleast I would think they wouldn't take that chance

Victor Olofsson is still rehabbing. Krueger said, “We’re optimistic, but we still need to give it a couple of weeks probably, but he’s progressing in a really good way.”

Krueger said it’s all positive with Olofsson, but they’re not going to rush the situation.

nope, tbh after getting hurt in college i kinda fell out of love for the game. Playing college ball made it seem like a job. I enjoy playing other sports even though im not very good at them. Even today i dont really follow the game too much. Like I probably couldnt tell you more than a couple guys on each team.

My big question is will I coach my son when im older and tbh im not really sure. I know regardless of age I would run practice like a high level program.

Yeah, I have actually heard that a lot, played ball with Dave Hollins and stayed around here to play, but he went to South Carolina, he told me some horror stories. But he made it to the show. It's tough being a coach, did it with my son for awhile. Stepped away when he went and played Quad County, I was to hard on him, tried to coach like I was coached.

thats what i kind fear. Like I think id rather be his hockey bench coach (glorified babysitter) than coach baseball.

On one hand it was cool playing college ball but I missed out on a lot of the college experience. I transferred schools but you cant really get back that FR/Soph experience that normal college students get.

part of me really enjoys that his friends like me, so being a part of their happiness if fun. Also, gets me away from some parents and you know those types.

Mini mites and a parent is already looking what summer hockey program to put his son in... calm down boss hes about to be 5.

Maybe, but really what is Vessey worth probably a third at most. I'd rather keep him and sign him to a year or two bridge for what he's making now. If he is a toss in on a bigger deal to get rid of some of the dead weight around here, I'm all for it.

More likely, Ralph just thinks Skinner should be driving a line of his own. I have to imagine that Skinner resigned here (after talking to Ralph) believing he would be playing alongside Eichel. Would think he's pretty annoyed at this point. I like seeing him smiling and having fun with Eichel. I really wish that was the pair that they kept together rather than Eichel and Rino.

They can do better than Vesey. Hell, Lazar can have his spot

Question for the prospect guys; So I do a bunch of sim based hockey leagues and just got back into the "current years" leagues.

IS the 2021 draft "deeper" than 2020? I figure one or two guys may have some knowledge. I honestly havent looked as deep into draft prospects in a few years so im not the guy right now in the know.
