I've heard more than one unflattering story, that's for sure. Never met him myself so I can't say. I know plenty of people in the restaurant/hospitality industry who did. Our tax dollars did a nice job with the Lafayette though

Not a Kobe fan (that whole rape settlement thing), but damn, his 13 year old daughter died in that crash and that's just so incredibly sad. I feel bad for his wife and their 3 other children. Imagine trying to go to bed tonight if you're them. Then imagine waking up in the morning and realizing it wasn't just a bad dream.
