IMO I think he would have been better served going to the Wolf Pack getting comfortable and playing big minutes than to start the season with the big club. Being pessimistic, I was thinking he would have 15-20 goals and 35 to 40 points on the season, not to say he cant catch fire, but those totals seem to be out of reach. - Brukie
Agree, but now he has the experience of playing at this level and a better sense of what's required to succeed. But having early success in the AHL would have helped his confidence..
Actually I don't and since a lot of rumors are floating around about him and the Avs I'd be interested in hearing them. If you have a link, that would be great too.
Thomas will cost a heck of a lot to acquire. - airjan23
Will St Louis even make any deal? They didnt last year. This year they are playing pretty damn good and with Valds expected to return, the Blues might consider him to be their deadline acquisition.
What the hell happened to Subban? Every game I have seen him in he looks like a shell of himself - mdw7413
Probably looks that way because he is a shell of his former self. Good thing we are nowhere near cap ceiling and have an ownership group that aren't inclined to spend money anyway or I might be upset,

They can't do anything if Tarasenko comes back before the end of the season

The Rangers should sign him to a long-term deal and give strong consideration to making him Captain. if dealing him, which is not my preference, a first round pick and solid prospect close to NHL ready better be the return.

I don’t want first round picks. We need prospects that are close to NHL ready, not some 20+ pick that won’t play his first game for another 3 years. I’d want something like Frederic and Studnicka+ for Kreider

Frederic and Studnicka don't move the needle that much to me but going to do some more research. Frederic is a fourth liner, which is beneficial, but I want more for Kreider. I would love Beecher if getting a prospect with upside.
