It's easy to get confused. Clearly, Willy breaking down and calling Dubas at the 11th hour and taking the deal, which ended up being a bargain for the Leafs considering Willy's play this year (which will probably only improve over the next few years), Dubas must have caved. My mistake.

Freddy is not a guy the Leafs should sign to a big contract. I fully expect the Dregers of the world to start the 8-10 per talk soon. Evetytime a Leaf contract comes out it's supposed to be the end of the world and the Leafs are doomed.

Lerher has been a top 3 goalie the past 2 years. And he left a great defensive system and went to a much worse one and still is playing great.
