I see your point, but it has always been the case that defenders will essentially interfere with someone to put them offside and it has never been called.
I agree it would make the call easier, but I guess I'm just kind of a traditionalist. There really is nothing wrong with the rule as is. There is no reason it has to be like football.

The reason I'm ok with a review is that I see linesman blow the call periodically. And I get that it happens real fast, often with bodies in the way. But, the rule is black and white, and completely comprehensive of all situations.
I'd like to see them limit the challenge to 60 seconds of video review. If it's that close, the call on the ice stands.

I was just giving you a hard time as I have no problem with it being "no goal". He was offsides as the replay shows. Just pointing out that replays are inherently non-traditionalist.
