Just want to reiterate that Dazed and Confused has nothing to do with Travis Zajac

Yes maybe not as good as Bailey, Nelson and Beau but interesting.

I all seriousness Wahlstrom looked good this year but I think he needs some time playing big minutes in the AHL.
He may be the better option next year and if that's the case its a good thing, however that said, you don't move Bailey unless you have a solid replacement. Can't hope Wahlstrom will do it he needs to come up here for a bit and prove it.

Meh I’m still having a hard time believing that was even called it was not a spear. I guess he shouldn’t have done anything that could be misconstrued as one but that’s splitting hairs imo. Is it the players fault when there’s an albatross call? Mayfield has been pretty good last few games there’s a 0% chance he’s getting benched.

Just spit balling but any chance it was also a subtle message to the refs, saying, "yeah any coach who thought that call was right would've stapled the player to the bench but here he is right back out there, ass hat" Or am I over thinking it?

Who knows? I think it probably had more to do with Trotz really needing Mayfield to close out the game. Benching barzal when you’re up four goals is not as big of a deal as a defenseman when you have a two goal lead with ten mins left.
