I can hear the talk shows tomorrow. "Murray should have gotten the start". Meanwhile, Jarry is literally the only reason they're down 2 and not 5.

Who though we are thin haha. That should have been interference, the guy who hit Tanev after Tanev threw a nice hit.

I feel like we're playing the Isles the way we keep skating onto their trap.

The Pens just don't have much zip tonight.

I had the same thought.

Controlled entries are great and all, but against the trap it just leads to turnovers.

Well, it's just hard to infuse good young players while keeping high draft picks and prospects (i.e., good young players) and getting rid of our useless / expensive players at the same time. You have to give to get so there will be sacrifices somewhere.
- Hockey66

GMJR did a good job finding McCann, Kahun, Marino, and Pettersson. Guentzel, ZAR, Blueger, Simon, Jarry too so that's 9 guys 25 and under that have pretty big roles. Rust, Tanev, Dumoulin are all 27, 28.

If they can find a couple more young guys, this really isn't an old team around the 3 big stars.

Isles, Canes, and Bruins all winning. Bad time to lay an egg.

Yup! You never know if they happen not to move Poulin or Legare that could be potential bottom 6 fowards. But I'd move them for a good piece not 35 years old haha.

Hard to really bad mad at this game. Pens have been great, can't win them all, more injuries. Chalk it up to a bad game and that's it.

Penguins don't look like they're running on fumes. They look like they wish they had fumes on which to run.

If they were trying I wouldn’t be mad. This is still a winnable game if they played harder. Too much coasting.

As uninspiring as the play is, Sully's aggressive line loading is good and I wish we'd see this kind of game plan more frequently when down.

Dont like loading up geno , rust and sid for a whole period. Nothing else can happen at all for the other shifts until they come back. They are getting chances and it prob could be tied...but we havent needed to do this ALL year to comeback in games...injuries or not.

Considering how frequently this team has battle back from a deficit I'm going to trust Sullivan's decisions.

Finally he sees the light. they’ve had a scoring chance each shift
