and then the headline becomes "Bergevin willing to listen to offers on Price and Weber". he does himself nor the players any favours in answering like that.
it's up to us, and the media, to not be stupid and not take his words so literally. |

Bergevin: Hello
Rutherford: Hey Bergy, Jim here. Calling about Weber and Price..
Bergevin: Nope, sorry. Guess you didn't hear I told Lebrun I won't even listen.
Rutherford: How's about Cros
Bergevin: NOT LISTENING LALALLALALALA - Good On Paper
He probably replied that when Price came to ask him for a trade. Then the parking guy saw Price crying in his car and understood everything. |

I fully expect MB to make a trade after the break to give his team another boost...he is not that bright and he is the biggest cheerleader of this group, not the most realistic person.

You can even go more vague than that and just say "If someone calls, I listen". He's done it before. |

Getting a 2nd round pick for Kovy would be great if we can find a sucker willing to do it. |

Consider how easy he is to fit under the cap for any team, I feel like we could find such a sucker. |

think it depends how he performs between now and the deadline. if he maintains a PPG pace he could easily fetch a second. |

I would definitively jump on it ... it would leave a big hole on the blue line next year but we're not winning the Cup in a while anyway.
Jake Muzzin fetched such a return a year ago and Petry is way superior to him. |
