You know who doesn't get enough credit as an analyst?

Pierre Vercheval.

He's better than the NFL guys, he spots every penalty and special formations, everytime there's a obsucure flag thrown behind the play he knows excatly what wen't down.

When Vercheval started as an analyst (I must have been like... 14 at the time? As he really been doing this for 20 years?!?) I actually wrote him an e-mail telling him I thought he was doing an amazing job and that was learning something about football everytime I heard what he had to say.

He actually wrote back. A nice guy.

He is. But if he ever switches to TV he'll need to tone it down a little. On the radio he makes a routine blocker save by Price sound like greatest save of all time.

i think a reasonable gun control scenario would have that as a single screening question:

would you wrestle with your 4-year-old child with a loaded gun on your person?

if you answer no, you get all the guns.
