2 Frederik Andersen TOR 2,265:50 18
3 Connor Hellebuyck WPG 2,262:16 19
4 John Gibson ANA 2,148:09 27
5 David Rittich CGY 2,125:41 15
6 Andrei Vasilevskiy TBL 2,103:56 5

8 Jordan Binnington STL 2,042:49 2
9 Sergei Bobrovsky FLA 2,014:44 10

The issue I have is whenever he struggles we hear Freddy is "tired". But what about October? He stinks all of October every year. He's a very hold and cold goalie. |

A 1st, Grundstrom and Durzi for Muzzin.
Lil is the first.
Grundstrom is the 2nd.
Abramov is Durzi.
I think it is pretty damn close. Maybe that 2nd becomes a 3rd...Maybe |

one way to look at it.
another is 6 are in the middle of the pack from 10-19, 2 are in the bottom 3rd and 2 in the top 5.
or another is the top 4 are sitting out of the playoffs. - Tumbleweed
I think the main message here is they are all over the map and it does not relate. |

I value 2019 Muzzin a little higher (age/cap/impact).
But I may value lilgrn higher than most...who think he is a bust or not Turing out the way we expected. |

That is fair...I think they still get a price close to that.
I like Lil but his value is a mid to late 1st.
Abramov and a 2nd? They could be NHLers but I wouldn't be surprised if either sees no more than 100 games.
To get Petry it has to be for a valuable piece plus a few projects/hopefulls.
I think if Dubas does anything significant it will be sooner rather than later.
He is well aware of the adjustment period for players and I doubt he adds anything significant at TDL day. |

At least we are paying Freddy half the cap hit.
But Leafs "overpay" their players. Florida has "No State Taxes". HAHA.
Thank god Florida got Bobrovsky cheap...No state taxes!!! Bobrovsaky would have gotten 13 million per elsewhere... |

Unless you are, or are likely to be, sitting in the same spot on the scoring list as you are on the contract list, then you are overpaid.
Of course things like defense, intangibles, leadership etc. have to be considered but do you really think we have any evidence that any of our "questionable" contract players are providing any of that?
Our payroll vs. the standings suggest not. |

Other than Tavares, our guys are looking damn elite. And Tavares production is still very good.
16 of 31 teams are up against the cap. |

I don't think the team is ready to trade futures for the "present". This team is more than a Liljegren trade away from winning a cup.

Exactly. So, if it's working for them, it could work for us... Or not.. We could both fail? |

I hear a loooooooot of people on this thread saying "If Florida finally gets goaltending lookout"
However for the Leafs its
"It is all the Leafs players and coaches fault that they aren't getting goaltending, they are doomed." |
