In his own words, Andersen plays better with a heavier workload. - Steven_Seagull

Yes.. Andersen plays well when he plays a lot, but he gets tired when he plays a lot..
Need to find that balance.
Babs knew how to manage Andersen.

I really liked a comment about advanced stats by an anonymous player in the NHL.
He said he never looks at advanced stats because its like taxes. He is just going to hire an accountant to figure it out of for him.
Same with Freddy...Have to find that balance between production and rest. |

Leafs should hire Cherry as VP of Old school hockey analytics and racism - Symba007
Actually Habs should hire Cherry and teach him how to speak French and teach him to like French Canadians. This woulld lift the view of the Habs organization as a club that is interested in rehabilitating needy players and coaches. It would reduce the scars left by throwing known coke heads like Galchenyuk overboard.

I really hope Dubas adds a D this break.
Muzzin-Holl is a legit top 4 pairing and we need it bad. |

Freddie needs more than rest. He needs to figure out how to close the five hole. Has allowed more five hole goals than any goalie in the NHL this season. He also needs to learn to stay in his net and not handle the puck. His puck handling skills are about 20 notches below that of Marincin.

I am sure he does...They work together.
But with him playing this bad they will have to look at adding someone to help. |

Agreed.. Need to get a good backup to split with Andersen.. We need a 1A/1B option like most teams have now. |

12 goals in 50 games is nothing to sneeze at.. That would put him tied for 5th with Zach Hyman on the Leafs, even though he missed 19 games - PatC80
Ah Zach Hyman.
Gotta love him but he is going to command some decent coin in 2022 |

Just a capable goalie is good with me...Georgiev would be nice but the Leafs will be outbid by teams that are desperate for a starter. |

The idea that workload is even a topic of discussion in January is an issue in itself.
The season is barely half over ffs. |

It seems like the Rangers want a lot, I don't think they'll trade Georgiev..
I'm starting to think that Dubas is gonna trade for Craig Anderson and Mark Borowiecki |

Ceci is better than Borowiecki
Anderson has been crap the past few years
I don't see the point |

It would go against moves that Dubas has made in the past.
I really don't see that happening. |

Nylander is not expendable, but in the end he may be the price the Leafs have to pay
So he is expendable? |
