Trading for Georgiev shouldn't be priority #1. Our need is defense. Johnsson is overrated and should be moved for a defense. When Moore comes back, he replaces exactly what Johnsson does for 1/3 of the cost. Leafs have so much winger depth. You think Engvall is the only guy they had in the minors that could play a bottom 6 role on this team?

Marchment, Agostino, Korshkov and Petan all in the minors who could easily be playing bottom 6 roles. How can Pittsburgh bring up these guys and they all do amazing yet everyone in Toronto is scared to let them play in the bottom 6? I'd move Johnsson for defense help and potentially kapanen depending on the return.

This bottom 6 looks more than capable to me. You could even put Kerfoot back with Tavares and Nylander, then Engvall shifts to 3C. Try and include Ceci in the deal with Kapanen to get rid of his 4.5mil cap hit as well.

Just go and look at other teams bottom 6 forwards and ask yourself, why do we need to have our bottom 6 looking the way it does? No other team has an amazing bottom 6. At least their defensive core looks much better than the leafs have. It's just stupidity at this point to stack up our bottom 6 when these guys play less than 12 minutes a game. We had 4 forwards under 12 minutes against Calgary in a 2-1 shootout loss.

Goalie isn't the issue, it's defense. No need having a strong bottom 6 (which isn't that amazing anyways) when our defense is poop.

And how has our defense been in those games? It's not just Freddie's fault. The leafs are terrible at giving up high danger scoring chances. Adding to their defense will help him more than getting a better back up.

the Leafs give up HD chances yes, but its not like they are bottom of the League, maybe more in t he middle. But the offense they generate should offset it for the most part. But Freddy is sinking them now.

We dont need him to be 2014 carey price, just normal Fred Andersen and the Leafs will win a lot more than lose.

Oh and also remove the Leafs best overall D in Muzzin, that will hurt
