I mean it is hockey.

They should start counting goals and chances as breakaways and odd man rushes.

(frank) quality chances. A two on one is enough for me. Count it as a goal.

It was frustrating watching Corey firkin Crawford battle through screens to make saves and then wrist shots from the top of the faceoff circle cleanly beat Andersen.

It's a tough stretch, hopefully we don't fall too far back, now that we are off until the 27th.

So a wrist shot from a spot on the ice with the goalie set and the d driving him wide is the same as a break away or a 2 on 1?

Yup.

The eye test lies all the time.

Especially when you are frustrated when your team is losing. Also people focus on every little mistake on the team you cheer for.

Meanwhile the other team is making the same mistakes.

Everyone can be biased both ways when watching your favourite team.

It’s a lot more accurate than.

“Every 2 on 1 is just as dangerous”

Come on garnie

I can’t wait for Garniestats to come out

I am sure we will get photos of the boys club partying somewhere to fuel the appearance that they don't care.

Time for me to get out my calculator ( as I don’t have enough fingers and toes ) to count all the breakaways and odd man rushes the last 6.

I’ll start rewatching the games now and get back to you guys

- Garnie

if you watched the last game, the first goal and the wraparound go in like one in 500 chances.

I understand what you're saying, but I disagree... That goal by Saad, Freddy should have saved. When he's on his game, that doesn't go in.. Same can be said about Toews' wraparound goal.

From what I saw, Crawford played better than Andersen.

Same can be said about the Saad goal that made it 3-0.. I'm not blaming the loss on Andersen, as a team they didn't show up, but at some point, you have to make an important save

I’m sure Freddie would like the wrap around back, I’ve said that before. 🤷🏻‍♂️

10th in the conference is not where I thought we would be with 33 games left..

Florida, Carolina, Philly and Columbus are teams we need to scoreboard watch now.

Yeah it sucks but the team needs to deal with adversity and figure it out.

At this point I wouldn't be upset if they missed the playoffs and learned what it means to play every game start to finish.

I love that the Flyers would be tied for 1st in the pacific and aren't even in a playoff spot in the East.
