Bill I realize that Rubtsov still has less than 50 pro games on his resume. But I feel he is in the same boat as all of the other LV forwards with the exception of Frost. There is nobody with legit top six potential. Would you agree with this?
- Djapana

Other than Frost, I think that things will eventually click for Isaac Ratcliffe. It's more long-term projection than imminent.

How much do you actually know about Cam York?

Enough not to get dragged into another argument with you. ✌️

There isn't any argument. I think I made my point and nothing further needs to be said.

Kapanen for Myers?
- mr.sir

How does this help the Flyers?

The answer is it doesn't but I'm still interested in hearing how you think it does.

Nope. Myers is too valuable for us. Only way he gets moved imo is as part of a deal for a young player with real star potential.

I might do Cam York for Kapanen but the Leafs would have to take back some sort of cap dump.

Probably not likely tho as Fletch seems to have a real hard on for US players.

- hereticpride

If Dubas trades Kapanen for Cam York he should get fired immediately

Ghost probably doesnt even get you kapanen now

Self-righteousness is a feeling or display of moral superiority derived from a sense that one's beliefs, actions, or affiliations are of greater virtue than those of the average person. Self-righteous individuals are often intolerant of the opinions and behaviors of others.

Bruins whipping their ass with Pittsburgh. Exactly what we need. Just don’t take the door off.

I'm not self righteous, I'm simply always right and morally superior to everyone else.

And if I'm not right, I'll spin and spin and spin until I've won that argument, and claim that any logical reply that does not coincide with my point doesn't matter and is irrelevant.

I AM WIN!

Thanks Bill, that’s pretty much how I see it. Unless NoPa or Lindblom return help will probably have to come from the outside.

In my opinion if the Flyers are smart they'll just play the season out and see what happens. I'm not against any cheap moves with out future cap ramifications but anything bigger than that would be a mistake in my opinion.

Sadly I just don't think the team can make a decisive plan this year on the forward front until the NoPa scenario plays out. Same with OL but obviously that is a scenario with substantially more gravitas and complexity to itm

If those players were in the lineup it would strengthen my stance so I don't think it's a factor in forming my opinion.

Update, Pens score 4 unanswered for 4-3 win. Doors came off apparently.

For me it woukd depend on how they were performing but what I know for a fact is they aren't playing this season, guess NoPa, has a chance so that is enough of an unknown that I just don't see the Flyers being in a good position to try and adjust their forward plans.

For me, if the trade makes sense cap wise and on the ice both in the present and possible future, I'd consider any trade.

Laberge started scoring a bit of late, which is his main value. But got injured again on Friday. Looked like wrist or hand.

I think we may be having two different conversations. I'm talking from the perspective of making a move for the short term for this season for a potential playoff run.
